America–United We Stand–Divided We Fall
The Antelope Valley Interfaith Council will present the 8th annual 9/11 Honorary
Event on 9/11/08. The theme of this event is America–United We Stand–Divided
We Fall. The program will include a Keynote Speaker, yet to be selected,
individual members speaking from their own faith’s viewpoint, The AV High School
Honor Guard and a Community Meal sponsored by the host Islamic Center of the
North Valley in honor of their Ramadan tradition.
With both Lancaster and Palmdale endorsing the event, it is our erstwhile hope
that many Antelope Valley residents will join us in our honorary event.
